1. About This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Datastub US LLC (“Datastub,” “we,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on datastub.us. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
2. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time, and they help site owners understand how visitors use their pages.
We also use technologies that work similarly to cookies, including local storage and tracking pixels. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these.
Cookies set by datastub.us are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other companies whose tools we use are called third-party cookies.

4. Session Recording
We use Microsoft Clarity to record how visitors interact with our pages. Clarity captures mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and navigation, and reconstructs them as a playback of your visit. It also produces aggregated heatmaps.
We configure Clarity to mask text entered into form fields. Session recording does not capture what you type into our contact form, and it does not capture passwords, payment details, or financial account information.
Recordings are retained for 30 days and are used only to diagnose usability problems and improve the website. Declining analytics cookies in our banner prevents session recording entirely.
Microsoft describes how Clarity handles data at clarity.microsoft.com. You can opt out of Microsoft Clarity across all websites at any time using the opt-out link Microsoft provides.
5. What We Do Not Use
We do not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking pixels on datastub.us. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share cookie data with advertising networks.
6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
6.1 Our Cookie Banner
When you first visit datastub.us, a banner lets you accept or decline each category of non-essential cookies. You can change your choices at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in our website footer.
6.2 Your Browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of our website from working correctly. Instructions are available in the help documentation for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
6.3 Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control and similar universal opt-out signals sent by your browser or an extension. If we detect one, we treat it as a request to decline non-essential cookies.
6.4 Provider Opt-Outs
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity: use the opt-out control available through Microsoft Clarity.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this policy when we add, remove, or change the tools we use. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we do. We review our cookie inventory at least annually and after any significant change to the website.
